I promise

I read this in a book and loved it. I changed it a bit, but hopefuly one day my girls will read this and know how very much I love them : )

To my beautiful Daughters, Madison & Payton...

- I promise to always be consistent and provide you with your stability.
- I promise to display actions that you can mimic. I'll show you that being out of control is not okay. I'll teach you the benefits of morals, values, respect, honesty, and good judgment.
- I will always strive to make you completely trust me and your surroundings.
- I promise to lead a clean, wholesome, "late-night/partying free" lifestyle- so that you learn the difference between excess and occasion.
- I promise to allow you to develop a healthy sense of attachment and give you a sense that the world can be a reliable place. I will limit and monitor who comes into your life for your benefit and protection. There will not be a revolving door of people in your life.
- I ultimately vow to keep you safe and free of harm to the best of my ability, but when hurt does occur I will be by your side to comfort that hurt away with unconditional love free of judgment and under NO circumstances will I ever turn my back on you, EVER.
- I promise to always correct you when you've done wrong and ALWAYS be truthful and honest with you about life and lessons that I've learned, but also allow you to make your own mistakes so that you learn from them.
- I promise to you that if there is anything compromising your healthy well-being I will be proactive in making any changes deemed necessary to insure your developmental and emotional growth. This I vow to you with every fiber of my being.

My dear, sweet, innocent, precious gift from God I promise to you this day to always strive to teach you:
o Spirituality
o Morals & Values
o Importance of Education
o Confidence
o Strong Will
o Loyalty
o Responsibility
o Accountability
o Wise Behavior
o Imperfection is okay
o Kindness
o Compassion
o Patience
o The Importance of Hard Work
o Apathy
o Consistency
o To always be friendly
o Forgiveness

Most Importantly LOVE

I am sure I will add to this as the years go by and I learn lessons myself along the way. This is the core values I want to instill in you to send you out into the world with. I promise you that I will continue to learn and grow with you along the way. I love you both with all of my heart and soul. You're going to have more love surrounding you that you will ever need. You were sent to me as a very special gift from God that I will never, ever take lightly and will always make my utmost priority.

With All My Love to my beautiful girls,
Mommy
